General Grievous, originally known as Qymaen jai Sheelal, was a Kaleesh warrior from the planet Kalee. He rose to prominence as a military leader during the Kaleesh's conflict with the Huk.

Recruited by Count Dooku, Grievous underwent a transformation, his organic body largely replaced with cybernetic enhancements. This process, orchestrated by Dooku and the Separatists, significantly augmented his combat abilities but also instilled constant pain.

Grievous became the Supreme Commander of the Droid Army of the Confederacy of Independent Systems (Separatists) during the Clone Wars. He was known for his ruthless tactics and skill in lightsaber combat, often wielding multiple lightsabers stolen from Jedi he had defeated.

Despite his fearsome reputation, Grievous's cybernetic body proved to be a vulnerability. He was ultimately defeated and killed by Obi-Wan Kenobi on the planet Utapau, a major blow to the Separatist cause. ``` ```html
